it didn't go so well though ![]()
first, my uterus is too small and she's worried that the baby might not be growing properly (ultrasound monday)
second, my body (ankles, wrists, knees, hands and feet) are too swollen and so if cutting saly entirely out of my diet doesn't help within two weeks she's admitting me into the hospital because she thinks I may have something worse.
third, a bladder infection. I've never had one before but I guess they're not much fun...
I wish DH were here
I'm trying not to worry myself about everything but its hard not to!
Re: FINALLY went to the doctor...
Oh no Sally! I am sorry you are going through this. I hope your u/s goes well and that there isn't anything more to the swelling. You are in my T&P!!

On the swelling thing- how was your blood pressure? And did they do any blood work to go with it? I'm assuming they're worried about pre-eclampsia.. I had it with Ben... you definitely want to take it seriously.
If you didn't know you had a bladder infection, then you should be fine - the symptoms will only get better with meds... so don't worry about that getting worse. Eat a lot of yogurt though to try to not get a yeast infection from the antibiotics.
So I missed this before... I know your'e just now getting to this doctor - who had you been seeing before?
I was in bellingham seeing a doctor, and then when I moved here I had a million and one problems finding a new doctor (military insurance, no room etc..). so my primary care finally found me one and today was my first appt.
ah makes sense...
So with your b'ham doc, were you measuring small at all before? I also wonder if your baby is just low - I know you were having a lot of pressure/pain (which could also be the UTI) - that makes you measure small-ish too. The u/s will give them a better look. Plus another peek at your baby!
Can you take it super easy this weekend and drink a ton of water and keep your feet up and relax??
