Returning to Babies R Us

I impulsively bought my travel system today.  I splurged because the Graco was on sale for $100 off.  My shower is in 4 weeks.

In my excitement I put it all together.  Now I am looking at our bank account and it is going to put us in a tight position for 2 weeks.

Can I return the item now that it has been taken out of the box?

    If you haven't used or damaged it then I say sure, why not. You just bought it today.

    u shouldbe able to i used to work there and one of our managers thought he was so hot wehn pretty ladies would come in with a item old as dust hed do a return for them.

    Thanks Ladies.  I will feel sad letting it go, but the shower is only a month away! Even if I don't get the travel system as a gift, I would rather pay the extra $100 when we have more $ saved.

     My usually very FRUGAL DH was eggin me on when I was at Babies R Us telling me to just buy it. 

    I will sleep easier knowing that I chose to be finanically stable rather than an excited new mom

    Ummmm....this is not what you want to hear, but seriously, I would just keep it! $100 off is huge - especially off of a Graco! I know it's going to be tight for you guys for 2 weeks, but seriously, that's $100 saved!!

     

    ETA: Which one was it? I already bought mine but I wonder if I can get a pretty refund. Big Smile

    This was my thought too. If you guys can make it for the next two weeks I think saving the $100 is probably your better option.

    Hahahah your like the "antagonist" on my other shoulder.  It is a great travel system. And by the time they applied all the discounts it The Graco Quatro Tour Deluxe came to $275.00 CDN.  Ahhhhh and the labour involved in dismantleing it and putting it back in the box.....and putting it in and out of the truck.....

    Well, honestly, you are saving a lot money (and work since you've already put it together). Sure you'll be tight on cash for a couple weeks, but that just means eating at home instead of out to eat, and skipping Starbucks. Saving that much money is worth the sacrifice in the long run, right?

    FYI - I'm not trying to make your decision difficult, but I'm just thinking of what I would do.
