How long do your well visits take?
I feel like we were there for.ev.er. today, but maybe it's normal?

haha! No, sorry! I thought you meant the actual in-room time with the doctor.
My doctor is like 45 mins away, we get there and sometimes have to wait for an hour (they've been alot better lately though) and then we wait in the room for the doc for like 15 mins.
When I took C, it was about 45 minutes from the time I walked in the door until we left. That included sitting in the waiting room, getting him weighed/measured, nurses questions and check, waiting for the doctor, doctor check, and me nursing him for about 5-10 minutes to calm him down afterward.
It felt like an eternity, though, because Cohen was hungry, Rory was bored, you know how that goes...
Time from check-in to time dr sees us is usually 10-20minutes. Time spend with the dr utterly depends on me & dh and how many things we talk to him about.
We're family friends with one of them. He takes time & talks to everyone, and is always running late because of it. The rest of them go down the list and leave. I'd rather be able to talk if we want to ;-)
About 20-30 minutes for the actual appointment. That's because I ask alot of questions, and dd knows the dr (my cousin runs the office, and her daughter that watches dd is there a lot for lunch with her) so she chats with him too.
Since my cousin runs the office, I really never wait. She gets me first morning appt or first appt after lunch every time.
On well visit mayeb 5 - 10 minutes in the waiting room. Once we get into the exam it could be up to a half hour and there have been time where we waited 45 minutes.
If I didn't love this Dr. so much I would bail. I bring the portable dvd player and usually let DD play with anything in the room.
Once the Dr. is there, she doesn't leave until every question is answered and I feel at ease.
This sounds about right for us. We usually only wait 5 minutes in the waiting room, and then maybe 5 more for the doctor after the nurse does her part.
