3D/4D Ultra sound and Team Green?

My mom is coming into town next week and knows that we don't want to know the sex of the baby, but asked if she could buy DH and I a 3D/4D ultra sound while she is here so we could see the baby's face. My question is to those that have had them done, do you think it is possible to have one and still not know the sex? or is this just another way of ruining the whole surprise of being Team Green? Please let me know what you would do in this situation.

Our 3D/4D place has really emphasized that it is not worth spending money on it unless you are at least 28 weeks.

My 20 wk u/s is a 4D u/s and the lady that scheduled it said if i absolutely wanted to know the gender than she wld schedule me downstairs where they have the 4d u/s machine. So if you really dont want to know i would prob opt out of it or ask just to look at the face.

We thought about doing a 3D ultrasound but then I talked to a friend who was also on Team Green with her last child - they decided to do the 3D and as soon as the tech turned the screen on there were his "boy parts" staring straight at them. I really want it to be a surprise so we decided not to take the chance.

We are still doing one. We'll tell the tech we don't know and don't want to, and let her find the appropriate place to place the wand before looking. I could tell what genital parts were in a 2D better than I could the 4D. What they said were DS's testicles looked nothing like testicles to me.
