DD is fed only with expressed BM.
So DD started at the sitter this week and I would send 3 bottles with 4.5 oz in each, and 1 with 4 oz. In a 10 hour span, she would eat all of them. Sitter said that usually babies at this age should be going 3-4 hours between bottles and that I should up the oz in the bottle. So today I sent 3 bottles with 6 oz and 1 4oz. I have fed her 6 oz at a time before (at night) but I feel like these bottles for during the day are huge!!
How big of bottles does your 3 month old eat? Formula or BM? Thanks!
Re: How big are your 3 mo old's bottles?
Well, I think boys typically eat more and DS has been a big eater from the beginning, but he eats 7oz every 4 hours during the day (4 per day) and a 6oz bottle before he goes to bed.
ETA: He's FF.
This is us as well. DD eats every 3 hours during the day and goes about 12 hours at night sleeping. She is FF
During the day, DS eats 4oz bottles of formula w/ oatmeal every 3.5 to 4 hours.
It's not uncommon for 3mo olds to take 6oz of EBM. Adding oatmeal to my son's bottles thickens it up, so he eats less.
Right before bed, he will take 5-6oz and 5-6oz first thing in the morning most times.
Oliver drinks 6oz of formula every 3 hours. He goes about 9 hours at night without feeding. He has his first bottle either at 4am or 7am & his last at either 6pm or 9pm depending.

I send 5 5oz bottles of EBM for DD. She usually eats every 2-3 hours. She does take the full 5oz. She does sleep through the night. I work 12 hour shifts, and most days she will take 4-5 bottles until I get home around 8pm then I will BF her one more time before she goes to bed.
See how she does today with the 6oz bottles and go from there.
Cute Baby!!!
I was wondering were you got his O State onsie? We are also OSU Fans and Alumni! Hard to find OSU baby clothes.
