I've no symptoms in this pregnancy except for a lack of periods. My belly still looks the same (just a little pudgier though), and I still haven't felt baby movements. I know my baby is ok because I listen to his/her heartbeat every evening on my doppler, but now I don't think the girls on that show are crazy.
Any others experiencing the same?
Re: Now I believe that show "I didn't know I was pregnant"
no movement for me yet, and im not showing (im a bigger girl to begin with) just had horrible morning sickness!
i know everyone is different but watching that show pisses me off. lol
I hear you and I'm with you! My m/s first trimester was terrible, I guess that would have given it away for me. But if I hadn't had it, or if I had written it off as something else, I may not know now that I am pregnant. This is that weird stage...I've gained weight, I need maternity clothes...but if I didn't know, I would assume I was just eating too much and needed to go up a size in clothes.
Everyone keeps telling me how lucky I am to still be so small and not showing, but I keep saying "the grass is always greener!" Those who show wish they were smaller, those of us who don't show desperately wish we were!
Same here, sort of. My only symptoms have been moodiness, being tired, acid reflux, ... that might be it... which can all be explained by other things besides pregnancy too. Up until about 21 weeks I was barely showing, just looked like belly fat really.
Now, at 26 weeks though there is definitely more belly than my 12 pound weight gain can account for and I would definitely be getting curious what all the "gas" kicking me was about.
)
The only symptom I've had with this pregnancy is peeing all the time. And a lack of periods...but looking at myself at 20 weeks I'd never guess pregnant.
Had I had bleeding every now and then and not been able to feel the baby moving, I would have never known I was pregnant. I could have easily gone to 18+ weeks not knowing, too. We'll see how the rest of the pregnancy goes to see if I could have gone the entire way without knowing.
I can see how somebody might not know if they haven't felt any baby movement. But once that starts, I think there is some serious denial going on. Baby kicks do not feel like gas. They do not feel like a stomachache. They feel like... a baby. Or an alien. Who is kicking and punching you.
And I understand that some women may not feel movement as much as others... but I can't believe they didn't feel *anything* the whole time.
