I need to figure out...

in 1st Trimester
how to clear my internet history so I can 'bump' all day :-) I know how to delete cookies..but I'm pretty sure that isn't good enough. I have no desire to work and my mind keeps wandering....ugh. Only 7 hours to go...

    Our stuff at work is all blocked by the network system administrator so I can't clear history. =( I'm still on here a lot though!  At home I go to "tools" and then "internet options" and I BELIEVE that is where you can clear history.  We have 2003 at work though.  It is different on 2007, I think.

    I've been clicking on the "tools" tab and then there is an option to "delete browsing history."  That should work.  GL!

    If you have IE v. 7.0, go to Tools | Internet Options | Delete (under Browsing History).  Here, you can delete your History and other Internet settings that cache.

    If you have IE v. 6.0, go to Tools | Internet Options | and you should see browing history towards the bottom (can't remember exactly since I don't have that anymore).

    I do that...but I think our IT department is smarter than that. I fear they have a program that tracks it more.

    I tried that but it still shows up in my 'cookies' on my c drive. I'll just delete them from my cookies and pray that works! haha

    You do have to delete those.  Make sure you delete cookies, temp internet files, and history.  You can find those under Internet Options.  BTW, they do have a way to store that information already.  I work in IT but I'm on thebump ALL THE TIME!  LOL!

    So does that mean it's pointless to delete if the info is stored automatically? Or deleting every couple hours will do the trick? haha, this is terrible I'm putting so much thought into it!

    Yes in our copmany it's worthless. They have a program to track bandwith usage by user. So you can delete anything you want but they still got you. :)
