  as with all surgical scars you need to wait til the scar has scabbed over if you still have surgical staples, stitches or steri strips you should avoid soaking the area as it is not completely healed inside and out.

  I think I waited 5-6 weeks so that the incision would be healed. I know that I didn't use any type of bath salts or bubble bath for a while.

  Wait till your 6 week ob checkup.  It's not just about your incision healing... your cervix may not be closed and you don't want to introduce bacteria in there.

  Mine told me 4 weeks, but I only waited 2. My incision healed well and I needed to relax and unwind : ) it was fine.
