NBR: I'm going back to school

I was taking online classes to finsih my BS but I took time off last year for my wedding. My classes wer 6 weeks long, so I took off 6 weeks around the wedding...but never went back.
 
I finally sucked it up and have registered for classes next quarter (starting Oct 14th). I'm going to a different online college that is offering me 10% off my tution because of a previous university I've attended (they have a "partnership" or something) and they allow me to take 2 classes at a time (10 week sessions) instead of just 1 like the other college.
 
It'll be difficult trying to finish my degree with a baby, but I'm just happy I finally found the motivation to get finished.

    Good job!! I to am finishing up BS in Accounting, when LO arrives I'll be 5 classes from finishing. It's gonna be hard work but I know it'll pay off in the end.

    Good luck!  I have thought about going back to get another degree, but I really want DH to go back.  Unfortunately, we need his income, and it is difficult to squeeze the classes he needs into his schedule.  Hopefully he will be able to finish soon.  He only has about a year and a half left.

    Congratulations, and good luck to you.  I just completed by Bachelor's in May, and I'm 28 yo.  It may be hard with a baby to take care of at the same time, but you will be so proud of yourself for getting it done.  Good luck!

    Good for you!  That is such great news.  What will you be getting you BA in when you areall finished?

    I have been thinking about going back to school too, I just don't know what to go for.  The worse part is that IF/WHEN I go back it has to be at the MA level, and the classes cost a rediculous amount of money!

    I just started back this semester too (although, next semester's classes start the day after my due date, so I'm not sure what to do with that). Good luck!

    Nice!!

    I'm going online right now too and will finish my last class of my BS a month before the baby comes.  It'll feel great to be DONE!

    I took a break from college too for my wedding planning. I just started 2 online classes 3 weeks ago that are each 10wks long. It was hard having to sign up for school again but I'm glad I did it.

    Hopefully I will be able to take at least 1 class with the baby here, maybe something easy like an elective.

    I go to school full time on campus and i work full time too! It is hard! Especially being a pregnant lady with a giant backpack! Luckily I just invested in a backpack on wheels. I am not taking any time off school when LO is born. I am going to switch to online (BUT with the program i'm using I will only need to take 1 class at a time to be considered a full time student). It is all very hard but it'll be worth it in the long run!

    Congrats!  You can do it, I promise.  And think of what a great example you are setting for your LO.

    I know how overwhelming it can feel though.  I got my acceptance letter for my grad program a week after my BFP.  It's not easy and sometimes I want to cry but I just take it one day at a time!

    Kudos to you.  I was taking classes as well but dropped them before the semester started and I found out I was pregnant.  I can't imagine taking classes while pregnant or after having a baby.  I'm just not that coordinated to pull that off without having a complete meltdown.  Hee hee.
