Dallas-Fort Worth Babies

All these pregnancy tickers are making me feverish.

Maybe it's that my DD is becoming so independent these days but MAN do I have some babeh fevah.  I actually loved being pregnant.

Congrats to all of you!

Re: All these pregnancy tickers are making me feverish.

  • Keep the fevah to yourself.  I was not a fan of be pregnant and can't image 2 under 2.  I have alot of respect for those pg now.

  • LOL.  I don't know what happened.  A couple of weeks ago I couldn't imagine it and now I can't wait until we try again.  WTH is up with that?

Although I did see this poor girl at the grocery store today with 2 under 2 in the rain with one kid screaming and the other whining with a ton of groceries trying to get both into car seats.  WOW.  That should have settled it right there..   :)

  • Have you been drinking lately.  Wine makes you forget the bad times.  LOL
  • OOOOHH that's what I was missing!!  Thanks!  It HAS been a couple of days...and I'm so not ready to go 9 months without some wine.  :)

I should have hated being pregnant.  I was so swollen I looked like a tick.  I got sympathy stares from strangers in the grocery store.  LOL.

  • LMAO, swollen tick??  That must be a Texas thing.
  • Haha.  It is.  Probably a country thing...I'm giving away my country roots.

    Don't google it, it's disgusting.

  • We've actually been "trying" for two months.  I'm so OCD, I've been completely upset/depressed lately with my neg results.

On a lighter note...DH is super excited with our "new sex life"  LOL  (yes, he's all about us having another baby...)

  • Ugh... I HATE these first few months!  I've been so sick and while the zofran helps a ton, it isn't a cure-all.  Plus, I was stoopid and mis-read my prescription bottle... I thought I had refills left so I called the Rx when I got home last night so they could refill it while I went to dinner but I'm out!  They have to call the drs office and it won't be ready until after work tonight!  Not sure how I'm going to make it today..especially since we have a team lunch at PF Changs!

I told DH that unless he can figure out a way to carry the next one, we're ony having 2 b/c I don't want to go through this crap again!

And to those "trying" out there.. disregard everything above... everything is great!  Wooo Hooo!  I can't believe I'll only get to enjoy this wonderful experience for 6-1/2 more months! Huh?

  • I have it to...then I have a day like yesterday (with a cranky, fit throwing poot) and I have second thoughts :)

  • I'm with ny.. I don't have it, don't want it, I am not drinking this water LOL.

I had an uneventful pg, no issues at all... I just can't see myself with 2 kids right now, the one I have has our  hands full!

  • I want the fever!  I had a great pregnancy no problems @ all and that is what scares me because I just know the next time is going to be rough.  Congrats to all that have 2 under 2.  I just don't know how people do it!
  • I'll only have 2 under 2 for about a month and it still scares crap out of me!   I have no clue how people handle 2 under 1!

haha i have probably been that person once or twice. 1 kid is tired, the other wants to go home, its raining....

as a sidenote, i know what you mean about 1 1/2 - its the age where kids just "grow up" and all of a sudden they are little people and not babies <3

i'll just keep reproducing 2U2 until i go insane.

Little late for that isn't it? lol

I have bad baby fever, being Mormon doesn't help because everyone at church thinks it's just crazy that we aren't pregnant again, lol.  I shouldn't even be thinking about another when ike is Mr. Whiny Butt, but i can't help it, i've been looking at his newborn pics and it just breaks my heart.  I'm not ready to be a toddler mommy :o(

bnljane, DH HATED TTC!  He said he felt like a lab rat most of the time, lol.

  • I have baby fever as well, but I'm not going to have 3 under 2!  It's hard enough now with the 2 of them.  And, I was the person at Costco trying to load them and the groceries in the van in the pouring rain!  Smile  Thankfully a friend of mine had a baby last night.  Hopefully it will curb the baby fever for awhile.
  • Yesterday some friends from church just had a baby boy and brought him over, I had Caleb climbing on my legs, Colten standing by trying to touch him, and I was holding this infant. Totally made me think I am completely done.  It would just be to much.

Same here - I'm not drinking ANYTHING that you ladies are handing out.  No gracias.  We're one and done, and if you don't like it keep your opinions to yourself as it is NONE of your business.  I can't believe how many people have made comments about that, and it's getting very hard to remain civil about it.

  • I have two under 2, it's wonderful. Mine are 19 months apart. We were trying to have 3 under 3 but it didn't work out for us. Hopefully I'll have a new ticker soon or it's off to the specialist I go.
  • We are not TTC until DD is 3..maybe 4. I really need to "forget" the sleepless nights, sore boobs, crying all time (me and baby, lol) and get DD in "free" school before we can even think about doing it again. I hated being pregnant - threw up everyday for 6 months and nauseated the other 3 months PLUS I had SPD https://www.birthsource.com/scripts/article.asp?articleid=189 and could barely walk for 2 months. LOL - it will take awhile before I am ready to do that again.

BNL - I think DH wishes we would TTC just so he could be guaranteed some action.

Creamy - people need to STFU about you being "one and done". I don't see why people are so bothered by that.

lol thats the difference between my first 2. my 3rd pregnancy (i miscarried) would have put me 1 month over 3u3. :) i would have loved it. we are hoping for twins - thatll put us 4u4 ;)

Add me to the "not drinking this water" group. No thank you, I would have to be committed!

No need to be civil if people are being stupid at you!  Let 'em have it.

  • Losing my mind.  Already responded to this.  LOL
  • As much as I would love to have anther baby right now, we can't afford to think about it! Plus I told DH this one needs to be potty trained before we have #2. One in diapers is enough for me! DH is the one with baby fever really bad. But he doesn't have to stay home with him all day and change all the diapers pretty much and deal with 99% of the meltdowns. Plus, I would like my boobs back for awhile before BF another one.

I feel your pain!! I had to go to the post office with my two in the rain today. All they wanted to do was splash in the puddles.

Alex and Gray will  be 25 months old when the new baby is born. It might as well be 3U2. And let me tell you, this was NOT intentional. DH and I wanted more children but were going to wait until the twins turned 2 hoping that they could go to pre school for a couple of days of week. Not the case.

I guess there were stronger plans out in the world for us.

Well, my MIL is leading the chorus so in the interest of my marriage I'm trying to be nice.  I did explain to her that daycare costs would increase to around $400 per week, which is about $1600 per month, and that's $19,200 per year.  And then you have to factor in diapers, formula (I can't breastfeed due to plastic surgery) and other stuff, and well.  If she's willing to foot some of the cost we'll have another baby, but she's not offering so we're not.  Unless we win the lottery, hee.  :)  There are other reasons as well, it was just easier to shut her up by spelling out the cost factor for us.

  • We got pg with #2 right after #1 turned 1---I love the 21 month age difference but the daycare cost is KILLER!  And people still ask me if I'm ready for another.  I would go bankrupt :)
