Wearing brown with grey?

Can I wear grey jeans (not dark not light just med. grey) with brown boots? Or is this a total no no?

If the boots are dark brown I would say no...If they are more of a camel brown, maybe but probably still no.

This is so weird because my hubs woke me up at 5:50am this morning to ask me if brown and grey go together.

I really do abide by their rules :-) ?I can't help it. ?Of course, I'd definitely qualify to be on the show now. ?That will alllll change when I go back to work and actually have to wear "real" clothes again. ?

I was thinking the Stacy and Clinton thing at first, but when I try to picture it in my head, it looks funny. I know I've made DH change his shoes when wearing grey pants, but jeans might not look as weird as his grey pants.

This would be grey skinny jeans inside of brown riding boots. I too thought it would look weird but it was suggested on a fashion board I go to.

I guess I will just have to try it.

Tell me about it! I am in between jobs right now so I'm spending a lot of time getting stuff done around the house before I start my new job in Oct. which requires me to dress professionally. But as for now I am sitting on the couch in the clothes I've been painting in! lol
