update on my dad...long

i know i haven't really said much since he went missing and I reported him as missing persons, well police got bck to me with no record of him flying in at ll from costa rica to nj, so i called my mom and asked her to do some more digging down there, she called me back monday  to  say our neighbor next to their house (they have 2 houses down there) had seen him last wednesday and he had been there, this was after telling my mom 2 weeks prior he was leaving then calling her to say he had gotten in "trouble" and was in jail. turns out those 2 weeks he was with someone else. my parents have had a very volatile relationship for the last 6 years and were kinda separated but trying to work things out so this other woman came as a total shock...sort of... its not the first time but he always came back to mom. my biggest issue with the whole thing is that he made her worry, she lost sleep over thinking he was alone in jail and the whole time he was doing other things, ok you wanna mess around fine but why make her worry after she just had major surgery and is still in delicate condition even though she is home!
he also stopped by my MIL last night because i was inschool till 10:30pm with a small package my mom had sent me for the baby, he told MIL he had gone from costa rica straight to canada and that he was depressed!
WTF? i know my dad can be crazy but seriously this was not somethng i excpected even from him.
i don't know how to deal with him and not want to strangle him for puttin mom through this crap.
sorry this is so long but that is my lovely complicated family life.

July 2004 abnormal pap, colposcopy and LEEP procedure ~ paps every 3 months all normal for 1 year
2006 all clear to start TTC
HSG Nov 2007 ~ all normal except mild left tube blockage
BFP #2 Dec 2007 EDD sept 3 ~ missed m/c ~ Feb 14 2008 ~ 9wk 2d D&C
BFP #3 Apr 2008 EDD Dec 10 ~ ectopic ~ May 2008 ~ 5wk 2d ~ emergency lap surgery, lost left tube
BFP #4 Jul 2008 EDD May 5 ~ missed m/c ~ Aug 2008 ~ 5wk 2d D&C - trisomy 16
RPL panel Aug 2008 ~ diagnosed with compound hetero MTHFR
BFP #5 Nov 2008 EDD Jul 31 ~ blighted Ovum ~ Dec 2008 ~ 4wk 3d ~ natural m/c at home for my birthday
BFP #6 Feb 2009 EDD Oct 15 ~ 4wk 3d ~ chemical pregnancy ~ Mar 2008
BFP #7 May 18 2009 ~ Gabriel Michael ~ Jan 19, 2010 ~ 7lbs 2oz 21"
TTC again since Jan 2011
BFP #8 Jun 2011 EDD Jan 20 ~ 5wk 6d ~ missed m/c ~ D&C
July - Hysterscopy removed some polyps, all clear for IUI with clomid
Aug-Oct - IUI - with Clomid all BFN
Nov-Jan - IUI - with femara and trigger = BFN
back to TTC naturally on our own hoping for another miracle.

    Wow!  I can see why you are frustrated with him!  I'm really gladto hear that he is OK, but you are absolutely rightabout making other's worry.  You've had a rough few weeks.  Hope things start getting better soon! Maybe you could talk with him yourself tolet him know how you are feeling?

    Oh, I'm sorry. Glad he's okay of course, but that sounds tough to deal with.
