The worst pain of my life was not labor

It was 3 years ago, when I sprained my neck. I remember screaming and crying the entire way to the hospital, every time DH hit a bump, went around a corner, or stepped on the gas/brakes. I had no control over the noises that were coming out of my mouth, it was like I was possessed.

I always thought labor would be worse, so I was pleasantly surprised to be wrong, lol

Mine was when they had to reset my dislocated ankle. Feeling bones move back into place is just very painful. That and coming out of leg surgery to fix the broken leg and ankle. All I remember is waking up from surgery yelling "8!" That was my pain from 1-10. I dont remember being asked though.

Sadly, doing nothing really fun. I was asleep and one of my gigantic dogs jumped on the bed. It scared the crap out of me and I turned the wrong way too quickly. I actually heard something tear. That's not a sound I ever want to hear again.

I posted this the other day: I labored at home untill 7 cm.. Pretty pressured I to the epi at 8. I've gotten tattoos (handle them better then dh!) ive had multiple things pierced. Didn't even blink when I had my iud put in but I almost cry when I get my eyebrows threaded!!! It hurts soooo bad!!! But I have to do them... Beauty is pain.

LMAO... I broke my ankle on my honeymoon. Unfortunately, there's not a juicy story to go with that either. But, everyone always gives me the wink, wink, nudge, nudge about it.

Yeah - my IBS pain is 1,000X worse. I remember rolling on the floor screaming for someone to kill me and put me out of my misery cause the pain was so horrible.

I've never said that before even when my water broke. I just breathed through the labor until I was given an Epi. Thinking back I think I would be too exhausted to push though dealing with labor pain if I went 12 hours without meds.
