I felt the Beco didn't handle an infant well - even with the insert. I thought the Moby was a more secure fit for a smaller baby. Maybe I would have loved it for a larger (6 months +) baby? Hard to say.
Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
We have a moby and a Beco. I like the moby for long wearing and around the house. However I use the Beco most when out and about (grocery store, etc. because it's just plain faster and easier to get on in a hurry. Now that Katen's older, I use it on my back with her whereas she would be too confined in the moby for her taste. My advice? Buy knit fabric to make your own moby ($5) and order a Beco too. People who like their Beco also seem to like the Ergo and Mei Tei as well. They're all similar.

Re: Anyone have a Beco Butterfly?
I got a Beco Butterfly when DS #2 came.
I returned it.
The Moby just worked so much better for us.
