If anyone has delivered at Roosevelt, St. Vincent's, NY Downtown or Maimonides (in Bklyn) or know any info about their maternity centers, can you please share your experiences/ what you've heard.  Thanks so much for your help!

    I had both my babies at Roosvelt hospital, and both times were great experiences for me.  I got a lot of support and coaching from the nurses, my doctor.  The second I gave birth, my husband missed it (it happened so fast) and the midwives were very supportive of me.

    Are you giving birth at maimonidies?  That is where I am supposed to deliver and haven't heard anything about it.. negative or positive.

    I'm planning on delivering at Beth Israel.  I love my OB/GYN there. Now that she's on maternity leave, I"ve seen others in the practice and am very happy.  I like that they have OBGYNs and midwives available, as well as a doula.  They have lactaction specialists, a program for "big brothers and sisters to be..." it just seems like they offer a lot.

    I would love to hear from anyone else who gave birth there though!
