Daycare with #1, not sure what to do when #2 arrives

What a gorgeous labor day weekend! Just found out that we are expecting again and I am of course worrying about seemingly unimportant things right now.

I love my job but have the option to be a SAHM if I choose. DD will be 22 months when munchkin pie #2 arrives and I am so conflicted. I think I am a better mom for having the balance of work and being a mom but the cost of day care is just outrageous. I am interviewing a new center this week to just get a feel for what they offer. They are considerably less than what I am paying now $120+ per day vs. $65 per day.

Also, did anyone go the nanny route?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    MH told me that when we have #2 that I will become a SAHM. right now that sounds appealing but I know that I am going to want to do somethign to earn my own money after a while.I also reminded him that with me beign a SAHM he will have to pay for insirance plus my bills which together will be more then 2 kids in daycare. Daycare woudl be $309 a week for 2 kids ( $1236/mos) and insurance for an independent family plan will probably be close to $100 plus my monthly bills. I definitely won that comversation. Plus I like the child interaction that they get. We are not TTC until next July.
