Maple Grove Hospital

Has anyone successfully been able to register for tours or childbirth classes at the new hospital?  My ob is switching from Robbinsdale to Maple Grove as soon as the new hospital opens and I'd like to be able to get a tour of the place where I'll actually be delivering.  Their website says registration has been open since August, but neglects to say *how* one ought to do that.

    Maybe try calling the main help desk of the hospital and be transferred up to the L&D floor?

    I wanted to find a doctor that will deliver at the new hospital and is still within my insurance. But they tell me it's too early to know which doctor will be switching to the new hospital. How did you go about finding that out?

    Isn't the Maple Grove Hospital part of North Memorial?  Try calling North's main info line.

    I took my childbirth classes there.  You'll want to register for them through North Memorial - if your doctor is affilited with them she should have the registration book for you.
