I swear, people are rarely nicer to me because I am hugely pregnant, not to mention I am dragging my 2 year old around as well.
What happened to people holding the door, or people letting you cross the street? Or anything else!
Yesterday I was picking up lunch and this lady in front of me was just yabbering all this personal conversation with the guy behind the counter (and you could tell he was irritated, like "shut up already"). She kept going on and on and then he asked her what she wanted to order and she was all "Hmmm, well I had the raviolis, so maybe I should try the mozz stix"? The guy was like, well it's your choice. So then he rings her up and she's like, oh how about 2 of those cookies? He adds that to the bill, and then she's looking at the "SOUP OF THE DAY" sign and goes, "What's the tomato tortellini thing" and the guy says "umm, soup" and she asks him like 10 questions to describe the soup, then she wants to know the sizes of the bowls, and then she's like 'you know what, I know i'll like it, so I'll take a big bowl".
OMG how clueless can you be!!! Get in line, and if you aren't ready to order, then let someone else by! I waited behind her for like 10 minutes!!
Re: Rude/clueless people
If someone is that oblivious about what to order at a place with a fixed menu then I doubt she would be astute enough to acknowledge there are other people on this earth, let alone pregnant and or folk with young children in tow.
But I feel your pain.
