Couldn't help but LMAO at DS!

We were in his room going through all is books.  I was weeding out all the very 'baby' books since we are all about big boy stories now :)

DS was going through the pile I was looking to put away.

Conversation went like this

Me - John, why don't you come over here and we can read The Three little Pigs?

DS looks up - No thank you Mama.  I busy. 

Indifferent

Really??  You are BUSY?  Are you kidding me??  LMAO!!

It was so cute.  Considering I had just been dismissed by a 2 and a half yeat old I had to look on the bright side that he said 'no thank you' and didn't just scream NO!!! toddler-style

    Love it!  He is so polite! :)  What great manners!  My BF little girl just leanred GO AWAY.  I think it is making her mama sad, so be glad your DS is still so sweet to you!

    He is a sweet heart.  Daddy is military so he's lucky at this point it isn't no ma'am and no sir :)

    haha that is cute.  My nephew did that to my mom when he was little.  He said, I'm busy Grandma!  We still laugh about it.  :)

    He was playing with his Let's Build With Blue ( from Blue's Clues ) book. It has plastic popsicle stick things that you build pictures with. Apparently they were much more interesting that 3 little pigs :)

    Haha! My son isn't quite as articulate yet.  If I ask him to do anything thast isn't Thomas the tank engine related I get an apologetic, "No want to."  Like you I am grateful it isn't a loudly shouted "No!"

    Hee hee!  That sounds like my house!  Sometimes when someone calls and we ask DD to talk to them on the phone, what do we get?  "I'm busy, Mama.  I can't do that."  Sigh Wink
