If it starts to look unkept, then we will do some trimming (like around the ears)...otherwise we're letting it grow out until he's about a year or so. DH had these long curly locks and they were gorgeous. DS's hair is starting to curl too, so he'll have the long curly locks too.
If I had a daughter, I would probably just let it grow-out. Unless it was growing in awful, then I would get a trim to even it all out.
Yea...my DD had a lot of hair when she was born, but lost a lot of it already. I probably won't cut it until after her first birthday. I want for it to grow nice and long. I had long hair up until I was in high school and now I have shoulder length hair. It's always so cute to see a little girl with pig tails. I can't wait to do that!
Re: If Lo was born with alot of hair ?
Brendan is almost bald. My nephew on the other hand had a ton of hair.
And I mean he looked like this kid had a wig on! He got his first hair cut at 5 months because it was IN HIS EYES!!!!
I'll grab his 3 mo picture tomorrow and scan it up here for ya!

I'll get it trimmed if it looks like it needs it, but I'll try to let it grow long.
