Target diapers up and up's

I love the wipes so thought I'd give them a try. I'm a little worried though. Love my pamper swadders even thought right noe DD is between NB and 1.

What would you compare them to ?

When did you start to use them ?

Do they run small, big ?

Do you really save $$.

I want to know the same thing.

  • Some people compare them to Pampers.  I don't think they're like any other diaper.  They are a little bit on the softer side...the tabs are really long and overlap for me so they just don't work for my skinny waisted boy. I'd open his onesie to find a diaper that was open due to the tabs not sticking.

We tried them with size 2's.  Never again.

    They run big.  Very big.

Yes.  A size 2 jumbo pack was $6.29 the other day.

  • I totally love their wipes also
  • I didn't think about adding that we have been using the Walgreens brand diapers with DS (who is 2) for a week now and have had no problems with them, but Target is easier for me to get to because we use Up & Up formula for DD and I go once a week to get that.  I've been hesitant about the diapers.  Tell me something good.  I would love to save some money on diapers.

If your DD has a bigger waist then they might work great for you.  It's the long wings on the side that don't work for my DS.  They can literally stretch across to his side (not in the middle like most diapers).

  • Love the wipes.  Used diapers for about two weeks.  Much cheaper than Huggies.  Run a bit small IMO.  Although good quality & good leak control DD had a bit of a skin reaction so went back to Parents Choice (WalMart).

  • We hated them. I think we used maybe 5 out of the pack, I'm donating the rest to daycare. The second he peed in them I could smell it, it was disgusting. They didn't leak, but they did run big on him. I'll pay more for the pampers! Each kid is different though, for the money they're worth a try.
  • I tried them and did not like them at all. They were so papery and fit my baby weird. They were too long. I think she was 1 month when I tried them. We went back to pampers for a bit, then recently ditched disposables all together and went to cloth.

She is a chunk, so they might work.  I think I will go buy a small package of them to try them out.  Thanks!!

  • I use them, and love them.  Before we switched we were using Huggies snug and dry, and they remind me of them.  We've been using them exclusively for almost 2 months.  Haven't had a leak yet.  They run a little on the big side, DD is 14lbs and she's in a size 3.   I can buy 2x the diapers at this cost.

  • Maybe it is how my DD is built - but the Target diapers run super small on her. We have her in Pampers size 1 and Luvs size 1 both fit her (and are still a bit big) and she can still wear Huggies NB but the Target size 1 are pretty tight around her and super short and she is little (11lbs, 23.5" long). She has a long torso and a bit of a belly so maybe that is why? Or maybe it was the package we got? I'll have to try size 2's on her next time we go to Target because we like the diapers (and the price) but I'm afraid of what would happen in the event of a blow out!
