I just had my big ultrasound yesterday, the tech said everything looks good (there not allowed to tell you anything in Canada) but the baby wasn't moving. I asked him about it and said don't worry it will start. I did see the heart beat, but i cant help feeling disappointed I didn't see the LOL moving around. Do you think the baby was just sleeping?
Re: baby not moving at Big Ultrasound
We had ours a couple weeks ago and the baby would not budge! She got me in all sorts of crazy positions and tried for 45 minutes poking and proding to get baby to move. Baby was obviously sleeping and would not be disturbed. All we could see was the back of the head and spinal cord. She didn't really tell me anything but I could tell she was really frustrated. Low and behold I went into see my OB for my 20week today check-up and there was another request for ultrasound! So I get to go again, maybe baby will be less stubborn.
I was super disapointed last time since there was no 'cute' pictures of the LO to be had, but now I'm excited since I get a second ultrasound out of it
Maybe you'll get a second one after you hear the results from your OB.
The baby taser. Oh my gosh that cracked me up!
They would tell you if something was wrong, try not to worry.
My baby didn't move during our big u/s. She waved an arm or moved a leg a little after much prodding and poking by the u/s tech but she was comfy in her position and wasn't about to move for any reason.
She moves all the time but sometimes needs a little rest- that just happend to be one of those times. Everything was fine and everything is fine with your LO.
