He's working on three top teeth, so none of them are completely in place, but the front two seem to have a big gap in between them. I don't think that even when they fully come in they will be close enough.
Yep, DS, too. I'd be willing to bet DS will need braces. I know it's too soon to tell because these teeth will fall out, but everyone on DH's side of the family needed braces and MIL keeps saying "you know crooked teeth is a dominant gene".... lol. Whatever, no biggie.

You post makes me laugh, not in a mean way, but in an oh that is so familar way. I had the same concern when DD first got her baby teeth. I even asked my dentist when I took her in. He said it was totally normal and they actually needed the gap to have room for more baby and big teeth. DD's gap has closed a lot now that she has all her baby teeth, but she still has a little one which they said is good and means she has plenty of room for her big teeth one day
I heard from someone that it is actually a good thing when they have gaps as babies b/c then the adult teeth will fit in the mouth. Don't know if this is true but makes sense. I wouldn't worry about teeth just yet.
