Babies: 0 - 3 Months

A sizing question

Not sure if this is better to put on here or 6-12 m....

But.. im online about to order a fleece bunting suit and not sure if i should get a 0-3m or 3-6.  My baby is due at the beginning of december.  She would need it until early April or so (it stays cold here for awhile).

How long was your baby in 0-3 m clothing?  Some people have told me that their baby was in 3-6 by 1 month old.  If thats the case i should just go with the bigger one.

Sorry, i am clueless about this stuff!

And thank you very much in advance =)

Re: A sizing question

  • DS was almost 7lbs at birth and we are just now switching from Newborn sizes to 0-3.

0-3 is still HUGE on him!! He's 9.5lbs now.

  • Get the 3-6.Our DD was completly out of the 0-3 stuff by 2 months.  At 3.5 months, some of her 3-6 stuff is getting small.
  • I had a 9 lb baby and he is in 3 month clothing at 6 weeks. 0-3 is too small and 3-6 is still a little big on him. I would either buy 0-3, since that will be the coldest part of the winter, or get one that doesn't have leg holes (just like a sleep sack) is a 0-6 size, it will fit a lot longer.
  • It depends on the size of your LO.

My DD is just now fitting into her 0-3 month stuff, we started putting her in it about a month ago but it has been in the past week or so that it really fits her. She was wearing NB until almost 3 months.

However, it is always safer to order bigger because you can put them in something that is too big but it isn't as easy when it is too small.
