I dont get this kid...

He doesnt nap during the day and he doesnt sleep for more than two hours at a time at night....what am I doing wrong??I TRY EVERYTHING!! I swaddle, I try paci ( he doesnt take them- tried four kinds), I try everything people or books tell me....i can't do this much longer! I'm calling pedi right now, he's seven weeks old for crying out loud!

    I don't think it's that uncommon for a 7 week old to be awake that much during the night. But he really doesn't sleep *at all* during the day?

    Hmm...that's rough. My DS is 7 weeks old too. He sttn and naps 2-3 hours at a time during the day.

    I wonder what could be wrong...? Does he seem gassy at all? Maybe reflux? :(

    If I'm lucky he'll nap for twenty minutes maybe twice a day....and he'll sleep if I'm holding him for sure...but by the time I put him in his bassinet for that twenty minute nap..he's up cause its time to eat again!

    Is he getting enough at meals?  My babe is only 2 weeks old, but he was most definitely not getting enough and so we are supplementing formula and now he is napping a LOT longer between feedings and seems much more content instead of fussying and wanting to eat ALL the time.  I don't have a 7 week old, but this is helping me.  Good luck.
