Fussy in the car!! Advice please!

Hi All

Does anyones else's LO have trouble in the car at night? During the day he is absolutely fine but once its dark he freaks out to the point where hes choking, sweating, sometimes shaking and can barely breathe. I've never seen anything like it. Hes 4 1/2 months. I was considering putting a crib soother in the car for the lighting and music but I dont know. Any thoughts??

DD hated the car seat period. until we got the bright starts car seat carrier toy. its soft, but plays music and lights up and just velcros on. it was my lifesaver. its the only way we can get her in there.

Try turning on your dome light to see if that's even what it is before you go buy something and it doesn't work. Sorry but that sucks, Annie freaks out in the car sometimes and it's hard because you can't take them out and comfort them while driving :-(

I have the EXACT same issue! I didn't even think about the crib light...I look forward to other suggestions!

BRU has this toy u can attached across the handle bars of the car seat which has little colorful animals with lights & music.. that seems to soothr my LO, its especially great at night that he can see the lights better.

I was at BRU yesterday and they have a backseat mirror with a light on it, maybe you can try that? In some states it's illegal to drive around with your dome light on.
