Oregon Babies

Recommend your OB?

Hello! I'm new to the bump but not the nest/knot.

I am in to my 5th week and need to make an OB appointment to make it "real". Does anybody just LOVE their OB? My insurance is Aetna but coverage is pretty wide.

East side is preferable, but close-in west side would be fine too.

Thanks much!

I love love love my OB, but he's over by St. Vincents hospital.  His name is Damon Warhus at the Womens Healthcare Associates (www.whallc.com)  I've been seeing him for years and wouldn't dream of seeing anyone else :)

I saw Dr Warhus for one of my OB appointments. Very nice. MY OB is in that same office, Trina Brodsky. She's super nice and really cares a lot about you and your health and the health of the baby. She's great. I think really anyone at the Women's Healthcare office (The Petercourt South location) is amazing.

I'm glad to hear that other people like WHA.  I have 2 other friends that went there as well, one who saw an OB and another who went w/ the Midwives and they both agree that WHA is awesome. :)

  • I LOVE my OB.  Dr. Nancy Lin at Prov. Milwaukie.  I also LOVED Prov. Milwaukie.  She tries to make sure 99% of the time she delivers her own patients but I did meet with the other dr. in her office and would have been totally fine with him.  But I love Dr. Lins personality and considering how much time you spend with your dr. that was important to me.   She will for sure be my OB when it's time for baby #2.

  • Thanks everyone for all the recs! I appreciate it.

  • Michelle Sang has been my ob for years and I was delighted to have already have her "established" so that when I got pregnant I already knew her. She's at St. Vincents and Good Sam, Portland OB/GYN.

    Good luck!!!!
