You guys... what a morning!

I had a dentist appt today to check out a tooth that fell apart suddenly. We had a realtor coming by at 11am to show the house but I figured I'd be back from the dentist in an hour, so I didn't pick up much.

FOUR hours later I'm still in the dentist's chair, mostly numb, my bib covered in blood and I've missed the house showing completely!

I've never been to a dentist that diagnoses the problem and fixes it in the same day. Of course today was the first. Three times(!) they numb me and start working and I can feel everything. While I'm freaking out about the baby because they gave me so much novacain (thank goodness I asked for epinepherine free) I swallow some and feel like I can't breathe. Next thing I know I'm waking up from passing out. Talk about embarassing.

So finally I just suck it up and let them do whatever to my teeth even though I can feel it because I was in a time crunch and I didn't want any more drugs.

Meanwhile the people come to tour our house. Our bed is unmade, DH left his wet towel on the bathroom floor, Katen's bed isn't made, toys are everywhere. MIL is totally surprised by their arrival and has to take Katen and wrangle her German Shepherd on a walk for a half hour while these people dink around in our house..... Again, how embarassing.

Now I've got Katen down for a nap. My head is pounding, my teeth are killing me, I'm DROOLING and I can't take anything. Tylenol might as well be a tick tack because it doesn't work. Do I sound bitter?

Ahhhh I feel better now. This afternoon will surely be better. We have another showing at 2:30. I'll be ready for that one. Let's hope it's the one that sells the house. Then at least we can salvage something from this day. LOL! (thanks for listening)
