Is this a contraction? Or what???

in 3rd Trimester

OK - first timer here, so help me out!? :)

So, just the last couple days I've been getting these really weird pains.? Sometimes it feels like the baby is moving weird - like hitting a nerve and it will be a sharp pain.? Sometimes that makes me feel like I gotta pee IMMEDIATELY, but if I go, I cramp up really painfully and tightly.? Sometimes it even happens if I don't pee - it will just be like a super low cramp, but with some sharp pains.? Is this a contraction???? It is so hard for me to tell if it "slowly builds up and then releases" like a contraction is supposed to, or if it just comes and goes?? There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.? It will maybe happen a few times a day - more in the evening.

I just don't know if it is a contraction because it can get really painful.? It is almost like a "charlie horse" in my lower abdomen.? I've had other BH before and those weren't painful.

    Sorry, I should have mentioned it is not RLP. ?I've had that for months and it is very very different. ?This pain is not on the sides, it is directly in front, and it is inside. ?

    Does it ever hurt when your baby's head is in a weird position?

    Or what does a contraction feel like to you??? ?(a painful one, not BH)?

    I have no idea because I have never been in your position before.  But I would call the doctor and tell him everything going on!
