Yesterday afternoon my phone rings...

Me: Hello

Mom on the other line: Hi, what's Audra doing?

Me: Sleeping

Mom: WHY AREN"T YOU TAKING A NAP THEN!

Me: I've got too much to do.

Mom: Well, fine I'm not gonna call to make sure that you're napping anymore, you know that you need the sleep.

Me: If you called to see if I was sleeping wouldn't the phone have woken me up?

Mom: Oh stop.
