7lb 7oz to 13 lb in 7 weeks...

... and I just read that babies normally double their weight by 5 months.  DS is going to hit 15 lbs in no time.  He'll be huge by 5 months!  I guess that I don't need to worry that he isn't getting enough BM.

Anyone else's DC in the same boat?

    Born at 5lb14oz, on day 3 in hospital he was 5lb7oz. On day 5 (supposed to be their lowest weight) he was 5lb 11oz. At 2 weeks he was 6lb13oz...had gained 18oz in 9 days. We'll find out at his one month, but I have the feeling he has not slowed down...his little NB onesies that we had to buy b/c he was too small for the 0-3 months are already getting snug and they're supposed to go to 8 lbs! Our peds and LC almost couldn't believe he is EBF!
    Um, yeah. The Bump be too crazy for pics of my kid.

    DS was born 6lb 11oz, at 2 days he was 6lb 2oz, 2 weeks he was 6lbs 12oz, 2 months he was 12lbs 14oz, and at 4 months he was 19lbs 7 oz. He's almost tripled his weight...lol

    DS was born 5.9 lbs, at discharge he was 5.13 lbs

    1 month he was 8.2 lbs and today he is 11 lbs. He doubled weight in 8 weeks time.

    DS2 went from 6 lbs 2 oz at birth to 13 lbs 10 oz at 2 months so he has already doubled his birthweight. He is ebf and usually only eats for 5-8 minutes at each feeding, but I must have some high-calorie milk!

    Mine was born 6lbs 11 0z and in one week was 7 lbs 2 oz. Then we went back three weeks later to find he was 10 lbs total. I guess it varies with each baby. At 2 months he was 11lbs 6 oz.

    DD was 7 lbs 4 oz at birth - kept losing weight and had to bo in for bi weekly weigh-ins by week to made it back to birth week, week 3 weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz and today (week 6) Is 9 lbs.14 oz.
