So I came out of the movie theater Saturday with 2 wet rings on my shirt. Really embarrassing considering I don't even look pregnant yet! Luckily it dried fast! But is there any special bras with like extra padding (don't know if nursing bras have any - didn't really want to look into buying those since my regular bras fit fine and I may just get bigger). Or other tricks out there? My current bras already have a padding so I don't know what to do.
Re: what do you do about lactating?
Even with nursing bras you wear nursing pads inside.
Pick up some nursing pads and you'll be covered.
Try a couple of different nursing pads to see which are the most comfortable. Here's what I have tried:
Lansinoh disposables - thin, absorbent, bigger than others
Johnson's disposable - thicker, softer than lansinoh, and smaller
Bravado washable/reuse - kind of soft terry on one side, mesh on the other. I preferred disposables though, I liked that the sticker on the back kept them in place.
Medela reuse - I liked these the least, I didn't think they washed well, or "breathe well" (they weren't very moisture wicking).
My bras have enough padding that it gets absorbed, however I have started to wear the little pads you can put in them.
I don't want to keep washing my bras every day!
I bought a pack of 60 (gerber brand) at Target for $5?
