We've loved the Pampers Swaddlers but Evan has outgrown the newborn size and the size 1s are huge on him. I tried Huggies and hated them. Tried Pampers Baby Dry size 1s and they are huge as well. Anyone know of some size 1 diapers that run small so that we can make it through this "transition" stage? HELP!!
Re: Size 1 diapers that run small?
We had this problem too.
Target brand size 1s and Huggies NB size were both great for our "in transition" stage. DD has a long torso and a little bit of a belly, but her legs are short and she's really skinny through her hips.
I will say something you won't want to hear--try Huggies. I don't like them, either, but they were the best for DS while he was between Pampers newborn and Pampers size 1. Huggies newborn run a little bigger than Pampers newborn and Huggies size 1 run a little smaller than Pampers size 1. It's really weird.
Good luck.
I would look for a brand that is big in newborns rather than a size that is small in 1's.
Huggies run big as well as Target. So try them in their newborn sizes. I wasn't a fan of Target diapers though - their tabs didn't stick too well.
Then after you are done with size 1 and you still need a transition diaper, they make size 1-2's for this reason. I don't know why they don't do this with all sizes.
