I used to hate hate hate them and didn't do them. Then I was scared into appreciating them. Then can help you during birth. I can't remember all the reasons why they're important I learned in class, but a strong pelvic floor helps direct LO's head during delivery. Also, I haven't snissed since I started doing them a couple months ago, which is good enough for me!
I don't do them like I know I should. Mostly just when I see the word...and every time I pee. I guess they are doing the job, because I haven't snissed in a while either!
They are supposed to be the most important exercise to do before and after delivery. They help with the pushing of the baby during birth, bladder control after birth, and better sex.
I try to do them every night. Are you sure you are doing them right? If you pee and then try to stop it, those are the same muscles.
