Eli had his first hot lunch today :)

He goes to "school" on Monday's (we can't afford to send him more than that).  It is a fantastic preschool for 0-5 years and today was his first day in the toddler room.  They don't usually move until 15-20 months but he was more interested in what they are doing, eating and etc.  They moved him early because he feeds himself completely and he walks really well.  I was ok with it because his other little friends at school are older and had switched a couple weeks ago, even his teacher got transferred to the toddler room so he's back where he belongs.  He had his first hot lunch today.  They gave him little chicken nuggets and veggies.  My little baby is growing up, and just the thought of him getting hot lunch makes me crack up.  That woman must have the patience of a saint though, because they don't use highchairs.  DH picked him up and he was sitting at a little table.

    That's great!  What a big boy.  :)  We are starting a one day a week class today, too!  Parents attend the class, too, though, and we have an evening class.  Hopefully we can get him to eat his dinner while he's there...

    Speaking of little chairs, my little guy went to the toddler nursery for the first time at church yesterday......and fell out of his chair at snack time.  :o  I didn't know they'd put him in a chair, or I would have told them there was no way he'd stay in it!  He's never sat in a little chair before...always a high chair.  Oh well, they said he seemed more scared than hurt and he recovered eventually.

    Glad Eli did so well!
