How in the eff does this cup work? DH threw out the packaging and I can't figure out how to use it. The straw looks closed up unless you squeeze it. Are they supposed to bite it when they drink? I'm so confused.
Yea you have to kind of pucker your lips to open it. It's weird. I bought it but DD hates straws and it's even hard for me to get any liquid out of it so it's sitting in my kitch cabinet.

Agreed - we tried it a few times too but it is really awkward to get anything out, even for me. We have 2 just sitting in our cupboard.
I hate those Nuby flip straw cups. I couldn't even get them to work! I found another kind (can't remember the name, i think its playtex) that has a flip straw that is soooo much better!
Did you get a bad batch...? DS has that kind for water and he doesn't have any problems. Maybe you should cut the slit a little if your DC can't get anything out.
A word of warning: take the straws apart at least once every week or two and clean them well, otherwise they WILL get moldy.
That's funny - this is the only cup DD will drink out of. You do have to bite the straw a little, but she doesn't have any problem with it. She also likes the Camelbak bottles (she started drinking out of mine - that's how we figured out she liked this kind of cup).
