My goal is to make it to Christmas. I do feel like it is starting to finally get easier (like everyone promised), so I might go up to a year if my supply holds up.

I'd like to for a year, or until she self-weans, whenever that may be. We had a really rough start but have made so much progress I think (*hope*) the worst is behind us.
Me 38, DH 34
Missed M/C 10/08 at 10 weeks
DD born 8/09, TTC#2 since Jan 2011
I EBF til just before 3 months but for several reasons am now doing about 50/50 with formula & BM (mostly pumped and bottle fed, but her middle of the night feedings are still BF)
Ideally I'd like to keep that 50/50 ratio until 6 months but it is a lot of work even to pump for part of her feedings, especially when you have supply issues. I also may need to go back on medicine I was on for ADHD and Anxiety soon and would need to stop BFing completely if I did that.
I want to BF for at least a year but i'm not really sure I will be able to keep up with LO since coming back to work.
this. I am not opposed to adding in some formula here and there...the important thing is that he is eating enough to make him happy, no matter what it is

My initial goal was 6 months, now I'm leaning toward a year. I'd really rather not FF, so that means I'd have to BF for a year. We'll see how things go...
I hope to EP until she hits 6 months. At that point, I'll wean off the pump, break into the freezer stash, and supplement more. She currently gets 2-4 oz of formula daily.
One year is the goal, but DS#1 self-weaned at 11months so I won't force it if he tries to self-wean (very different then just weathering a nursing strike).
My first DS my goal was for at least a year, but I continued and he is almost 2 1/2. He is only nursed once during the day right before nap. My second DS for at least two years.
Re: How long will you breastfeed?
My goal is 6 months, which puts me right around Christmas, so I'm going to try through the end of the year.
Once we hit 2010, I'll re-assess the situation and see about continuing from there or not.

big goal - 3 months (almost there, woohoo!)
bigger goal - 6 months (hopefully I won't have to start on meds that would force me to quit, still waiting it out at this point)
biggest goal - 1 year (after 6 months I'll be back at work so we'll have to see how pumping works out)
It's funny that before he was born I was so confident BFing for a year would be a cake walk. Boy was I wrong!
