Success after IF

Beware lazy, cranky fall bees ... I got stung yesterday.

Better me than Jack!  We were all sitting in the grass in our front yard (me, Jack, DH) and I felt a prickle on my knee, I started to brush it away thinking it was just a pointy leaf or burr - then realized I was knocking a bee to the ground and my knee started really stinging and burning - that little effer stung me right through my (thin) cotton pants -- TOTALLY unprovoked!  (I knocked him away *after* he had already stung me.)  I was very glad it was me though, and not Jack.

And although the bee was already dying after stinging me (idiot bee) I still stomped on his dumb asss.  And my knee STILL itches even as I'm typing this.  I'm just glad I'm not allergic!

Wheee!

  • I'm sorry you were stung! This story terrifies me though - I've never been stung and so am deathly afraid of bees b/c a) I don't know how much it hurts and b) I don't know if I'm allergic. Even more scared for Toodle!
