I just got a Babyhawk for my birthday and I like it so far. You can wear it on your front or on your back and Noah seems pretty comfortable in it. I don't think I could wear it for hours and hours...but with a 20lb baby on your back, I think everything will get uncomfortable at some point.
We have an Ergo. I like it fine for the back and hip positions, which I why I bought it, but I've really gotten my money's worth out of carrying her in front when we're out and about because she'll actually fall asleep in it that way, and that's saying a lot for Ellie.
We used it a lot on vacation in Gatlinburg, I've used it at the zoo and we expect to use it a lot when we visit Disney World this winter.
I have a babyhawk also and I like it, but I think I'm going to go for an Ergo for the next baby. It seems sturdier and more comfortable than the babyhawk, plus getting it tied properly can be a PITA.
We loved the idea of the Ergo and found it at Buy Buy Baby. They are owned by Bed, Bath and Beyond and you can use any of their coupons! 20% off saves a good deal!
