For those that already had their babies (not what you're planning on), did they decide on their birthday? No reason, just thought of this today while out shopping. [Poll]
Contractions started on their own at 34w5d. I got to the hospital and was just a fingertip dilated. Within an hour I was 4cm dilated and since baby B was in a transverse position with all his cord below him, they decided on a c-section because I was dilating quickly. they actually came at 34w6d because it was 3am the next morning
I started contracting on my own. By the time we got to the hospital 2 hours later I was already 6 cm dilated. I knew I was having a c-section due to position (breech & transverse) so they had to get me ready very quickly!

I had a C section at 36 weeks. It was not recommended for me to have a vaginal delivery due to a velementous cord insertion, plus my daughter was breech. I was scheduled for 37 weeks but went a week early due to pre- e and low platelets.
I was induced at 36 weeks 2 days due to high blood pressure problems. I was 4 cm dilated the week before at my regular OB appointment, so it probably wouldn't have been too much longer if I wasn't induced.

Had my 36 week growth scan done at 36w2d, while there the MFM said he wanted to check to see if I was anymore dialated (had been 3 cm dialated and 95% efaced for a week when I was checked by my regular OB), he said still the same and sent me home.
Made it home and got up from the couch to go pee and Baby A's water broke. Found out when I got to labor and delivery that the nurses refer to my MFM as "Mr. Big Fingers", apparently several women have gone into labor a few hours after he does the cervix check. I am sure it was just time, I mean they were pretty much braiding Baby A's hair at the last check I was so far efaced and I swear she was so far down I was actually carrying her in my leg. Delivered them both vaginally 24 hours later after a ton of pitocin to induce real contractions.
