Not looking forward to that in a couple of weeks! My mom has already offered to take her if she thinks I can't handle it. Why do I feel like LO will be more brave about it than I will??
I had TWO babies who suffered 'em ... so I really got teary eyed. DH laughs at me and tells everyone I cried ... I said I got teary eyed and then I give him dirty looks and ask why does he have to announce it? JERK

I already told DH he has to bring her to her 4 month shots.
Ours are on Wed. I'm dreading it too. DH is coming and I'm glad because I know I'm going cry so hard. I already cried for like 10 mins after his Hep B shot.
We had ours today and it wasn't so bad. She cried more when the Dr. worked her hip joints (she was breech so they keep checking for any clicks that signal development issues). We had a great nurse that was very sweet and quick. DD settled down right away and crashed out in her car seat on the drive home. Still asleep now...
BTW - We're on a modified vaccine schedule, so she had her HepB, Rotavirus (oral), and DTaP. We're doing 2 shots per visit so that the vaccinations are spread over time and it's less stress on the baby. Most Pedi's just follow the American Pediatrics guidelines, but our AMAZING Pedi is more of a 'country doctor' who believes that as a parent you have the choice to do it all at once or over time.

"You're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast..."
