Ugh, the stress (NBR)

I hope that I can make it through today.  My mom is having her surgery at 10:30, I decided to stay at work instead of sit around worrying.  So basically I am going to sit at work, not be productive, and get paid to worry.   That's pretty much all I am going to be able to do. On top of this mama-drama, DH and I are in the midst of a huge fight so I don't know if I can count on him to let me vent.  Right now I'm not to sure of anything.

 I just hope I have enough strength to make it through the work day so that I can go see my mom after recovery. Sorry for the serious rambling, but there is a lot of junk thunking around in my head and I need to get it out.

    What a great idea to keep you distracted at work & still get paid! too, love it. I am sure your DH will come through for you too, he probably realizes that you are extra stressed today with your Mom's surgery on your mind anyway.

    Hang in there, it's a beautiful day if you need to get outside to clear your head, walk to your favorite local deli and treat yourself to a snack.

    Sending lots of good thoughts your mom's way.  I can relate to you on the being paid to worry front.  I've done it more times than I like to admit!

    I'm glad that you went to work...that's helped me in the past too. I'm sorry for all the craziness going on. Hopefully you and your guy will be able to put the focus on your mom and get you through this. I'm really close to my mom, and I get stomach cramps just thinking about the scares she's had. You'll get through this morning, and then noon will roll by, and then you'll drag on through 3:00pm and then you'll get to go home. It'll be over before you know it.

    Please keep us updated on your mom's progress, and feel free to ramble here anytime. :)
