I got an invite in the mail to a wedding shower. They enclosed a piece of paper so we can give some advice to the bride.
I'm drawing a blank. The only thing I can come up with is to go pee after having sex. This is a very good girl and her fiance is courting her, so I know they haven't had sex yet.
She's a young gal, but she's funny and witty. part of me thinks I can do it since we don't have to sign a name, but the other part of me thinks not.
Re: Would this be okay? Wedding shower advice question
Hmm, I guess it would depend on how close you are to her. I generally think that if I have to ask, then I probably shouldn't do it.

I woudn't.
When I have to do something like that, I always give this advice, "Sometimes it is ok to go to bed angry. Things can look a lot different in the morning"
The best advice I got from my friend Susan applies to both marriage and kids:
1. Pick your battles.
2. Don't make any promises that you don't intend to follow through on. (This includes threats.)
