Free Nursing Cover Fraud Response

Here's the response I received from Udder Covers regarding the free nursing cover (uddercovers.com).

Hi Jennifer,
I can assure you that you have nothing to worry about. Due to some of the promotions we are currently running and have ran in the past we believe that these lies are being spread about us by competitors. We are a memeber of the bbb without a single complaint filed against us. We have taken measures to secure our site that none of our competitors have such as purchase an EV SSL certificate which incrypts peoples communications with us twice as much as a regualur \"secure\" site. We have even purchased a $250,000.00 insurance policy in case one of our customers information was comprimised somehow. We also pay a company called COMODO to try to hack our site on a daily bases to let us know how we can better keep peoples information secure. If you would like to talk to me I would be more than happy to go over the history of how and why these rumors originated. Right now our office is closed as we are all in Vegas for the ABC kids expo (we have a booth), and will be back in the office Thursday.

    I had emailed them also, and was assured that the style I picked was just out of stock, and would ship during the first week of October.  We shall see.

    This is very random, but I remember you from when I was planning a wedding on the knot back in 2003!  I was on the knot's local boards a lot in those days.  My name back then was sannah.  A lot of things changed in my life and it was easier to just start over with a new profile.  Anyway, just wanted to say hi!  Hope you've had a great 6 years or so.  Big Smile

    Sannah - yes, I know who you are!  How are you?  I've been on the boards for over 10 years now.  Crazy!  Can you say addiction.  Seriously though, now I'm a wedding planner, so I get paid for it.  LOL!

    We're doing great!  Married almost 6.5 years, 1 DS - Jared who is 17 mos & one on the way.  :)
