DC Preemie GTG Today!!!

We had a great time at the DC National Zoo. We spent the day with SBMBride, MHop, their hubbies and kids! It was a great day and we got to see a bunch of animals - prairie dogs, orangutans and other apes, elephants and hippos. Campbell is as adorable in person as she is in her siggie pictures. And super clever too, she can sign like nobodies business. Marino looks so grown up in his new haircut and is the fastest crawler I've ever seen. It was such a great day with perfectly cool breezy weather. I've never been to the National Zoo either and we loved it and can't wait to go back! We're looking forward to seeing more of MHop and Campbell when they come to visit the area now that they have family near by.

As soon as I can get my pics uploaded I'll post them for everyone to see.

Last night, mek1076 and I got to meet up with mhop for dinner and drinks! Here we are: mhop, me, mek.

mhop is a doll! She really is so sweet, down to earth and great with mamas and babies! And her husband is really great and funny, too, and, as you can see above, Marino agrees! It was fun having the DH's with us this time! Hopefully mhop will come visit us again soon!

I had an awesome time both last night and today. It was so cool to meet some of the girls that have made such an impact in our lives in the last year+. Thanks for taking the time to hang out. We will definitely be back!

Now we just have to travel to Wisconsin, Denver, NY, Cali, and all the other places where there are preemie moms!

We'll put all the pictures on facebook tomorrow night when we get home!
