that our society would stop making men think that they sperm count is a reflection of their man-hood!! FFS, it's nothing that 98% of men could control! It does not mean their peeps are small..it does not mean they have less testostrone... it means nothing other than their count is low!
It breaks my heart to hear that men won't go for a s/a. I know there are many reasons, each unique to the man who has them..but i'm sure the fear of feeling like "less of a man" is amoung them...and that is not fair because its not true.
Vent over...carry on.

Re: i wish..
lol... just a vent. I've been noticing that many women's husbands are holding out on having a S/A and i know that when my DH found out his results he was embarrased...but a woman could have pcos/endo/etc and not feel pressure on her "woman-hood"... so it just makes me mad. lol
that's great for you dh... if only every man thought that way.
DH is ready to go in the next couple weeks, OBGYN just ordered it. Not scared about his manhood at all. Though, I could see why some guys would take it as a blow...
ohh no..i def think that both men and women can feel "defective".. and that is completely reasonable and acceptable. Even after my CP I feel 'defective' and upset with my body (even though i know it is nothing i could have controlled)
What i'm saying is that there is some sort of double standard for men and women when it comes to IF, thats all.
MH didn't voice any objection to having his SAs. And actually, sometimes I do feel like less of a woman because of my inability to get pregnant so far.
I'm religious, but you know what bothers me about the Bible? I'm sure it was just a reflection of how society thought then. Every time a couple could not have a kid, it was the woman that was labeled as "barren" and it was acceptable for the man to go find another woman to bare him a child.
Mari, I would think since you have gotten KU several times that your husband does have Super Sperm! Sorry to hear he won't ease your mind though.

Just because she's gotten pregnant doesn't mean there's nothing wrong with his sperm.
Thanks Sulfa I was going to say that. It could be a genetic defect on his part or maybe even chromosome issue. I still would like to know!
