do you have enough bedrooms for them or will they share rooms? We have an 1100 sq ft condo right now. It's only two bedrooms. We're not even thinking of more kids until we can get a bigger place so they don't have to share rooms. Anyone else holding off for the same reason?

Bubblegum Explosion
I grew up sharing a room. I just don't understand why people have an issue with it. My brother and sister shared when i was a baby. They were 6 & 8. When i turned 2 my sister and i shared.
ETA: if #2 is a boy they will share a room and we will have a guest room again.
We also have 2 bedrooms. I have no problems with kids sharing a bedroom when they're older, but there's no way I want to put DD with a small baby in the same room. DD had lots of sleeping issues when she was younger, and I don't want to go down that road again by making her share a room with a baby.
We would make sure we lived in a 3 bedroom before we had another baby- we would TTC before then, but we would do it with the knowledge that we would need another bedroom before the next one arrived.
It's strange, we have a guest BR, and an office (I WFH), plus DD's room, and ours, so 4 BRs, technically.
For baby #2, the plan is to get rid of the guest BR, but DH had said we should have the kids share. I had to explain that we can't have a 4 BR house and have our two kids sharing a room!
I don't think it would be too weird to have your kiddos share a room, even in a 4 bdrm house. Growing up, my sister and I shared and then used a second bdrm (connected through a bathroom) as a dedicated playroom. It actually worked out really well. ?
Our house has a loft that we're enclosing to make a third upstairs bedroom; we're in the process of getting permits to have the renovations done before the holidays.
It's basically a mirror of DD's current room, has a closet cut-out and everything, so not much needs to be done. We're going to leave the nursery as it is, get DD big-girl furniture and move her into that room. She uses it as a play space now.
If we decide to have three, then either two will have to share or we'll have to move to a bigger house.
