Bright red bleeding with mucus plug??

Anyone have this? Though I had passed mucus plug last week, but man oh man I did last night it was huge! Then today I passed another huge piece of it and had a big swipe of bright red blood. Anyone??? Contraxs are still the same uncomfortable at about 6 min apart.

Dr said to come in even though it could be nothing.

    I dont know what to tell ya since I havent passed anything...but it sounds like shes on her way! I'd go and get checked out.

    I think I've only lost part of mine -- smaller pieces as opposed to a big chunk.  I only had some brown tinge to it not red blood so I can't help.  Keep us posted!  Sounds like another pre-40 week baby is on her way!

    I don't have any words of wisdom, but my bf lost her mucas plug and had her baby a week later....so sounds like your little angel might be on her way!!:)  Good luck!!!

    Go get it checked out if you are worried but I am betting it's normal. You are totally gonna have that baby soon!!!!!!! How exciting!!!!!!!!!!
