What do you do to encourage your faith with your LOs? DH doesn't believe in organized religion, so we're not regular church goers, but I pray with DD every day. I read some Christian books to DD and sing songs (recently bought 3 Christian CDs for Christmas gift), but DH is anti VeggieTales. Meanwhile, DD gets all excited over Disney characters and Barney. I feel guilty that she doesn't have the same warm-fuzzies for Jesus that she does for Mickey. Of course, she's only 18months, but still.

Re: Religious families
The main thing we do is bring DD to church with us. They have an awesome kids program! I know that's not me teaching her about God, but I think it's good for her to experience church. Have you talked to your DH about bringing your LO to church with you? Can you & her just go alone? No offense, but I don't like when non-religious spouses keep religion from their kids or other family members because of their beliefs. I just don't think it's fair. You could at least expose DD to it, not force it on her, and then let her decide for herself.
Other than church, though, we have a few Veggie Tales DVDs, but she's not really that into them yet. We'll pray together sometimes, or I'll just talk to her about God throughout the day. I try to look for opportunities to talk about Him. Like, if we see/hear an ambulance, I'll say a simple prayer out loud for the people in it. Simple things like that I think will introduce her to God and make it a normal part of her life, plus it's teaching her to think about other people's needs.
Like you said, though, they're only 18 months old, so there's not too much you can do at this age. Good luck!
How could anyone be anti veggie tales??? Even before I was a Christian, I thought it was a very cute show.
I think you are doing right so far. You can also pray for her. I have some encouraging scriptures hanging on DD's wall (psalm 121). I know a fantastic church in Dallas- gosh, it's awesome. PM me if you want the name. You and DD can go, even if your Dh doesn't want to.
Anti- Veggie Tales? Has he ever watched an episode?
You can still attend church with DD even though your DH doesn't want to. Good luck!
