Okay, so I've been craving chocolate chip cookies like CRAZY for 3 days now! ?I couldn't take it any more, and decided to cave in a make some. ?To justify it in my own head, and convince myself that I could add the slightest bit of nutrition to them, I made the following changes to the traditional recipe:

-I started by cutting the entire recipe in half, so I wouldn't have to deal with a whole batch in the house. ?It still made about 24 cookies. ?
-I added quick cooking oats to the batter to make oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. ?At least this way they have some fiber now.
-Instead of all purpose white flour, I did half all purpose and half whole wheat flour
-I added walnuts to get some omega 3's.

?They turned out really good an satisfied my craving. ?

Awesome. The best move is cutting the recipe in half. Portion control is my biggest issue. I love an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie with nuts and ww flour. I like to toss in dried cranberries too.
